With so much confusion regarding the property purchasing process in Spain, including the requirements for permanent relocation after Brexit, join Medland Spain and Sun Lawyers for this webinar if you are considering buying a holiday home, investment or a more permanent move to live, work or retire to Spain.
In this webinar we will explain the legal requirements and processes, plus offer advice on how you can you safely purchase a property in the Costa Blanca and the Costa Calida. This is also an opportunity for you to ask your questions – for example, what is a TIE, what are the rules on health cover, how do I prove my income etc.
While it is unlikely that post Brexit the rules regarding ownership of a holiday home will change, the new 90-day rule for visiting Spain and proposed tax changes could adversely affect buyers and property owners.
The Brexit transition period will end on the 31st December 2020 and if you apply to become legally resident in Spain before the end of this year you will still be eligible for the current benefits and avoid what is likely to become far more onerous requirements.
